Binge Eating Disorders

Like bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder is characterized by frequent, out of control eating either as binges, constant picking, comfort eating or just have larger portions than needed. Unlike bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder sufferers do not vomit or purge afterwards, although they may often attempt to diet. As a result they are usually above a healthy weight and are overweight.

Like people with bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder sufferers have difficulties with poor self-esteem, lack of confidence and they may be out of touch with their own emotional needs.
